9. App Blocking Feature (iOS)

9.1 Nature of the Feature

The App Blocking feature uses Apple's Screen Time APIs (Family Controls, Managed Settings, and Device Activity frameworks) to restrict access to selected apps during your calendar events. This feature is available only on iOS devices that support Screen Time.

9.2 Limitations and Disclaimer

  • App Blocking relies on Apple's system-level APIs. We do not guarantee that blocking will function correctly in all circumstances, including but not limited to OS updates, system restrictions, or API changes by Apple.
  • If you have "Share Across Devices" enabled in Screen Time settings, app restrictions may apply across all your Apple devices signed into the same iCloud account. This behavior is controlled by Apple, not by our app.
  • We are not responsible for any consequences arising from apps being blocked or unblocked, including missed communications, inability to access essential apps, or any impact on emergency services access.
  • You are solely responsible for managing your App Blocking preferences and ensuring the feature is configured appropriately for your needs.

9.3 Permission and Revocation

The App Blocking feature requires Screen Time permission. You may revoke this permission at any time through your device's Settings. Revoking permission will immediately disable all app blocking functionality.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
